Virtual and Hybrid Learning

Yes, it's time to talk about the money, but don't worry, it won't hurt that badly.

Virtual Learning Plan I  (VLP)	Designed for residents of Delaware only.   This plan provides up to four hours per week of online instructional guidance on the student's learning plan.  Assistance/guidance with all paperwork with the state of Delaware to register the student as attending an alternative school is included.  This should be considered a 10-month alternative education placement. Cost per month: $89
Virtual Learning Plan II  (VLP-II)	Designed for any student, nationwide. This plan provides four hours of online instruction which may be delivered over a variety of schedules. For example: one hour per week for four weeks, two hours for two weeks, etc. Tutor must be provided with the topic and goal of the sessions at least 24 hours in advance of the first scheduled session.  Hours must be contracted in batches of four. This plan does NOT take the place of school attendance, and should only be used by students attending day school or those enrolled in a family-registered homeschool. Cost per four-hour batch: $72
Virtual Learning Plan III  (VLP-III)	Designed for any student, nationwide. This is an à la carte plan, whereby instructors provide a one hour session on a topic of the student's or parent's choosing.  Hours must be contracted at least 24 hours in advance.  At time of contract/purchase, instructor must be provided with specific goal for the session.    Cost per hour/session: $30

Please NOTE: Virtual Learning Plan I and the Hybrid Learning Plan must be preceded by a consultation session, where a learning plan is developed for the 180 instructional days (or remainder thereof) of the current school year for each student.  The cost of this initial consulting session is $100.  Adjustment sessions ($50 each) are available at parent request throughout the school year.

Hybrid Learning Plan

Designed for residents of New Castle County, Delaware only. This plan provides for two online hours per week of facilitator-student contact and two hours per week of in-person instructional guidance on the student's learning plan by an HGA facilitator, in either a one-on-one or a small group (seven or less total students) setting.  In-person hours are conducted at Newark United Methodist Church, 69 E. Main Street, Newark, DE  19711 Cost per month: $129
